a week agoA fantastic destination with lots to look at. Great for kids and very educational with lots to experience and do. For adults you can taste the delicious mead and other honey related alcohol.

5 months agoThis was a fun stop for us while we were exploring Taupo. We are not honey experts, but still enjoyed the honey tasting. They also offered tastings of there mead which was great. There was only one lady doing the tastings, so we felt a bit guilty for asking for samples. We probably would have tried more stuff if there were more people working. The shop itself is very cute and all the employees were very nice. The place was pretty packed, so I’d recommend trying to get there early.

5 months agoWhat an awesome place! There were so many honey products, from skin cream, to souvenirs, to alcohol. With such friendly and helpful staff, we struggled to not purchase everything in sight. We sampled quite a few different honey varieties as well as alcohol and they were all delicious. Would definitely recommend it if you like honey.
