a year agoThe guide had so much knowledge and passion for the history of the house. He was wonderful and entertaining. Highly loved the tour. It was beautiful! The house is highly worth viewing!

4 years agoAbsolutely loved it, as soon as you walk in you are transported immediately back in time. Tauranga is so fortunate the house and contents are still in tact and the volunteers are there to show you around and do a marvellous job keeping things ship shape. Its delightful!

9 years agoVisiting Brain Watkins House is a real treat ,plus a trip down memory lane for older folk. It is made more interesting by the fact that everything that remains in the house belonged to the family right down to clothing still hanging in the wardrobes, bedding, paintings, very old flooring, wallpaper,ornaments, china and cutlery. Well worth a visit on a Sunday.
