Clean Up Te Puke & Enjoy Some Pizza!
Let’s team up to make downtown Te Puke shine! Join us at The Daily Cafe for a community litter sweep, followed by a well-deserved pizza party. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in our community, so grab a friend and spread the word to local businesses and neighbors!
Litter is everyone’s responsibility, and every hand helps. Come on down and lend yours to help keep our beautiful town tidy.
Event Details:
When: Friday, September 19, 2025 Time: Starts at 3 PM (Arrive any time!) Where: The Daily Cafe, Downtown Te Puke
Bring your kids, bring a friend, or even rally a work team – all are welcome!
We’ll kick things off with a brief health and safety rundown where you can grab your rubbish bags, gloves, and choose an area to focus on. If your team has a vehicle, you’re welcome to tackle areas outside of the main walking zones. Feel free to bring your own gardening gloves to help us reduce waste.
The clean-up wraps up at 6 PM back at The Daily Cafe. Once you’ve collected your rubbish, we’ll help you sort it for recycling before we dig into some delicious pizza and enjoy a social catch-up! We’ll be recording all the waste collected by type to report back to Keep New Zealand Beautiful.
